It was 10am on the Sunday of 27th March 2008 when a crowd gathered on the street beside the building where Sri Krishna Mandir is situated. Residents from adjacent condominiums were also waiting by their windows, observing the proceedings. Rama Navami 2008
Sri Rama Navami celebration was very encouraging for the devotees. Despite being a week day, the attendance was about a hundred. Most of them were new faces. And surprisingly, six of them were Chinese!!! All the people liked the Hare Krishna kirtana, the abhisheka, the class and of course the Prasadam. When asked how they liked the festival, many of them replied that it was like a really rejuvenating experience. They seemed to feel full of vitality despite a tiring day of work........
